Bookmarks

Today I was inspired by Jace's pretty origami corner bookmarks and decided to get creative and make my own corner bookmarks. I ended up making two this afternoon and had a lot of fun doing it. Thought I would share them in the pics below. [Please excuse the not so clear pictures, I'm not very handy with a camera]

Thank you for the inspiration, Jace. :)

  1. Oh, these are lovely! Are they made from scrapbook materials? I'd love to see more, so don't stop creating! :-) And you're very welcome. :-)

  2. Those are so pretty Brie! I'm jealous ~ I'm not very crafty. I tend to start craft projects and never finish. : )

  10. Great corner bookmarks!!! I've made some book thongs in the last few months (sound sexy, eh?)... you've inspired me to post pics of them. I'll try to do that soon.

  12. Oooh, so pretty! I was going to have a go, but was compromised at the very first hurdle by my complete lack of skill/ creativity or artistic talent. But I covet those bookmarks... I really think I'll have to have a go. (Do you use envelope corners?!)

  13. Sorry, I forgot to ask - what is the title of the book you used to model your bookmark? I caught 'Mistress -"

  14. Thanks Meriam. I do use envelope corners and with the right materials they are pretty easy to make. So do give them a go. I'd love to see what you come up with.

I used two books actually. The one you're speaking of is Mistress of the Art of Death by Ariana Franklin. The other one is A world Too Near by Kay Kenyon.
