RIP III Challenge

For me, there's no better season than Autumn. So, what better way to begin the approaching season than by reading an atmospheric tale. Carl V from Stainless Steel Droppings has kicked off this season with a challenge. He is hosting the RIP III Challenge. I love challenges, but I'm not good at sticking to them because I tend to procrastinate and not meet deadlines. Well what's really good about this one is that the amount of books you choose to read varies on your personal choice.

I'm accepting the Peril of the Second. Under this peril I will need to read two books of any length, from any subgenre of scary stories that I choose. If I'm able to read more, I will.

Here are the pool of books that I'm interested in reading. I'll choose at least two from my list to review:

Wuthering Heights - Emily Bronte
Mina - Marie Kiraly
Rebecca - Daphne Du Maurier
Neverwhere - Neil Gaiman
Thirteenth Tale - Diane Setterfield
Coraline - Neil Gaiman

This challenge runs from September 1 through October 31. For more information visit Stainless Steel Droppings: RIP III Challenge.

  3. Autumn is hands down my favourite season. Love it.

Great list, the only one I haven't read is Mina, but the rest are all absolutely perfect for the challenge and great reads to boot!
