Some of This-Some of That

Yes. I'm still in the land of the living. For a while I was unable to find a good book to read. Then by chance, my husband picked Driven out of the pile of TBR books that I have been neglecting.

He looked at the cover and said, "Is this a romance book? It looks bad-ass." I said, "Really? Hand me that book." And what a helpful husband I have, because I'm loving Driven! Who knew I had this little gem of a book in my TBR pile, just sitting there, waiting to be read?

I've also been perusing the book blogosphere and commenting here and there.

I wanted to give a big THANK YOU to everyone who helped me out by recommending a Contemporary Western and/or other selection. I went out and bought a few, can't wait to give them a go.

Back to my reading.

  1. Hi Brie :D

Glad to know you're still alive and hope you won't go farther into Slumpville. Let us know what you think of Driven... I'm going to review it soon with someone and this is going to be so interesting :)

  2. I'm glad to see your reading this one - I LOVED it. Good choice by hubby *g*. You will post when your done won't you? :)
I love the cover of this one. I was reading it in the food court at the mall and had zero qualms about other people seeing it.

  3. Brie, What new books did you get? Share, share, please...

  4. Hi Nath, cant wait to read your review.

Kristie, I really like the cover. It's so cool.

Jill, let me see, I got a few books by Debbie Macomber. I think that most of her books take place in the Dakota's, or at least the ones I bought.

I'm trying out Linda Lael Miller's The Mckettrick Way.

I have two Anna Jeffery books Sweet Water and Sweet Return.

I also ordered Duncan's Bride and Virgin River.

    I think that's it. :)
